  • 4 pieces pork chops bone-in, about 1-inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar for marinating
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, mix apple cider vinegar and brown sugar. Add pork chops and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Remove chops from marinade and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub mixture evenly over both sides of the chops.
  • Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
  • Place the chops in the smoker and smoke for 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove from smoker and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Adjust the seasoning to your taste, and feel free to use different wood chips for smoking to get unique flavors.
