  • 2 cups BBQ sauce use your favorite brand
  • 0.5 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 0.5 cups brown sugar lightly packed
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
  • Shred the chicken with two forks and stir into the sauce before serving.

Notes
