Instructions
Preparation Steps
Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
In a bowl, combine BBQ sauce, chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
Pour the mixture over the pork.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender.
Remove pork from slow cooker and shred using two forks.
Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix with the sauce.
Serve on buns with extra BBQ sauce, if desired.

This dish is great for gatherings and pairs well with coleslaw or pickles on the side.
