Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Pat the ribs dry with paper towels and place them on a large baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Rub the olive oil onto the ribs, then sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the ribs, pressing it in to adhere.
Cover the ribs tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2 1/2 hours.
Remove the foil, brush the ribs with your barbecue sauce, and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
Finish by broiling the ribs for 3-5 minutes until the sauce is caramelized. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
