Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add garlic, sautéed for 1 minute, then add shrimp. Sauté until shrimp are pink.
Pour in white wine and lemon juice, add red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
Add pasta to the skillet, toss to coat. Stir in parsley and Parmesan cheese.
Season with salt and black pepper. Serve immediately.
Notes
You can substitute chicken broth for white wine for a non-alcoholic version of this dish. Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes according to your spice preference.
