  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tbsp celery finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp dill fresh, finely chopped
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 4 bread rolls split and lightly toasted
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 0.5 tsp paprika optional, for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, celery, dill, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add the shrimp to the mixture and gently fold until the shrimp are well coated.
  • Brush the insides of the split rolls with melted butter and toast them under a broiler until golden brown.
  • Spoon the shrimp mixture into the toasted rolls. Sprinkle with paprika if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve the shrimp rolls with lemon wedges on the side.
