  • 1 lb ground beef lean
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 cup celery sliced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 can tomato soup 10.75 oz
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups potatoes diced
  • 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add onions, carrots, and celery to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato soup, and beef broth. Add potatoes, salt, black pepper, basil, and oregano.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your meal.

Notes

You can also add a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top before serving for extra flavor.
