Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
In a mixing bowl, combine cooked sausage, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and chives until well mixed.
Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Place a tablespoon of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the point and place on a baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.
Notes
For a spicier version, try adding red pepper flakes or using spicy sausage.
