  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 10 oz marshmallows Use mini marshmallows or large marshmallows cut into smaller pieces
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter plus extra for greasing the pan

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Grease a 9x13 inch pan with butter and set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  • Add the marshmallows to the melted butter and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and quickly add the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until well coated.
  • Pour the mixture into the greased pan and press down evenly using a buttered spatula or wax paper.
  • Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For an extra touch, consider drizzling some melted chocolate over the top before letting them cool.
