  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the vanilla extract and egg until light and fluffy.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until well combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges start to turn golden brown.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
