Main Ingredients

  • 4 fillets salmon skin-on, about 6 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 lemon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped

Preparation Steps

  • Pat dry the salmon fillets with paper towels and season them with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add the salmon fillets to the pan, skin-side down, and cook for about 5-6 minutes or until the skin is crispy and releases easily from the pan.
  • Carefully flip the fillets and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
  • Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Remove the salmon from the pan and drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh dill before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve the salmon with a side salad or some steamed vegetables.
