  • 1.5 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter creamy
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter until well combined.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in the vanilla extract and chocolate chips.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Allow to cool in the pan before slicing into bars. Serve and enjoy!

These bars can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
