  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup raisins or other dried fruit
  • 0.5 cup chopped nuts such as walnuts or almonds

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix together oats, flour, and brown sugar.
  • Stir in the melted butter, honey, baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Fold in raisins and nuts.
  • Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
