Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups apples peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter cold and cut into small pieces
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Spread the apple mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.

  • Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
