Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin pan with paper liners.
In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined.
Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter. Add a teaspoon of Nutella to each cup and swirl with a toothpick.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

These muffins are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days.
