Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix together peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Stir in baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges.
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra texture, you can use crunchy peanut butter or add chopped peanuts to the mix.
