Instructions
Preparation Steps
Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate to form the crust.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Add peanut butter and confectioners' sugar, and blend until combined.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form, then fold into the peanut butter mixture.
Pour the peanut butter filling into the crust.
Melt chocolate chips in the microwave or using a double boiler. Drizzle melted chocolate over the pie.
Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours or until set. Garnish with whipped topping and chopped peanuts before serving.
Notes
Feel free to substitute almond butter for peanut butter if desired. Adjust sweetness by varying the amount of confectioners' sugar.
