  • 0.5 cup caramel sauce plus more for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon nutmeg

  • In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  • Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the crust.
  • In a small saucepan, cook the diced apples with caramel sauce, cinnamon, and nutmeg over medium heat for about 5 minutes, until the apples are tender.
  • Allow the apple mixture to cool, then spread it over the cheesecake layer.
  • Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving. Drizzle extra caramel sauce on top before serving, if desired.
