  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream chilled
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package graham crackers about 9 sheets
  • 4 ripe bananas sliced
  • 1 cup pineapple tidbits drained
  • 1 cup strawberries sliced
  • 1.5 cups chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup chopped nuts pecans or walnuts
  • 1 jar maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  • In a 9x13 inch dish, arrange a layer of graham crackers to cover the bottom.
  • Spread a layer of whipped cream over the graham crackers.
  • Top with slices of banana, pineapple tidbits, and sliced strawberries.
  • Drizzle a generous amount of chocolate syrup over the fruit.
  • Repeat layers two more times, ending with a final layer of whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the final layer.
  • Garnish with maraschino cherries.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

For a fun twist, you can add crushed cookies or crumbled cake pieces in between the layers.
