Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add minced garlic to the pot and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour in the white wine, bring to a simmer, and season with salt and black pepper.
Carefully add the mussels to the pot and cover with a lid. Cook for 5-7 minutes until mussels open up.
Discard any mussels that do not open. Stir in the fresh parsley.
Serve mussels with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes during the cooking process.
