  • 4 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • 0.5 cup butter melted

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the top with the remaining cup of mozzarella cheese.
  • In a separate small bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers with the melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture over the casserole.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.
  • Remove from oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
