Instructions
Preparation Steps
Boil a large pot of water and add the cubed butternut squash. Cook until tender, about 30 minutes.
Drain the squash and return it to the pot. Add butter, salt, black pepper, nutmeg, and heavy cream.
Mash the mixture using a potato masher or hand blender until smooth.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve warm.
