Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix cheddar cheese, minced jalapenos, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Spoon small mounds of the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 6-8 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the edges are golden brown.
Allow crisps to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra crispiness, make sure the cheese mounds are evenly spaced and not too thick.
