Preparation Steps
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and rub it with olive oil. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Set the Instant Pot to 'Sauté' mode and brown the chicken on all sides, about 5 minutes per side.
Remove the chicken and add chicken broth to the Instant Pot. Place the trivet inside and set the chicken on top.
Seal the lid and set the Instant Pot to 'Pressure Cook' on high for 25 minutes.
Allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then release the remaining pressure.
Notes
For a crispier skin, broil the chicken for 3-5 minutes after cooking.
