Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the onion and celery. Sauté until onions are translucent, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the chicken broth, dried sage, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Add the cubed bread and mix until bread is evenly coated and liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 5 minutes.
Fluff with a fork, add parsley, and serve warm.
