Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the cranberries, sugar, and orange juice.
Stir occasionally and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
Stir in the cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange zest.
Remove from heat and let cool. Sauce will thicken further as it cools.
Serve the sauce warm or chilled.
