  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary crushed

  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional for spiciness
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, salt, black pepper, sage, thyme, rosemary, optional maple syrup, optional cayenne pepper, and minced garlic.
  • Form the mixture into patties, about 3 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage patties in batches and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
