  • 0.25 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup protein powder use chocolate or unflavored
  • 0.25 cup almond milk or any preferred non-dairy milk

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, stevia, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together eggs, applesauce, and vanilla extract.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  • Stir in protein powder and almond milk until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the brownies cool completely before cutting into squares.
