  • 12 oz egg noodles uncooked
  • 2 cups diced ham fully cooked
  • 1 cup frozen peas thawed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz can
  • 1 cup milk preferably whole milk
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, ham, peas, half of the cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of paprika or cayenne pepper. You can also substitute the cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken soup if preferred.
