Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent.
Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for another minute.
Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for about 30 seconds.
Assemble tacos: Spoon beef onto tortillas, then add lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and sour cream. Sprinkle with cilantro if desired.
Notes
Adjust seasoning to your taste preference. Add a squeeze of lime for extra flavor.
