  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 8 pcs small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded purple cabbage
  • 0.5 cup diced avocado
  • 0.25 cup chopped cilantro fresh
  • 2 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 0.25 cup sour cream for serving

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Mix until shrimp are evenly coated.
  • Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  • Warm tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds per side, until slightly charred.
  • Assemble tacos by placing grilled shrimp on tortillas. Top with cabbage, avocado, cilantro, lime juice, and a dollop of sour cream.

Notes

For an extra kick, add hot sauce to taste or sprinkle with diced jalapenos. These tacos pair perfectly with a side of chips and fresh salsa.
