Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
Add the pumpkin puree, eggs, and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture and beat until smooth.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about three-quarters full.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
