  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter cold, cut into small cubes
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
  • Add the cold butter into the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Stir in the cheddar cheese.
  • Gradually add the milk, mixing just until combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
