Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a bowl, mix the cornstarch and chicken pieces until coated.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the coated chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
In a separate bowl, whisk together hot sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken in the skillet. Stir to coat the chicken, letting it simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
