Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in taco seasoning mix and water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
Divide cooked rice among 4 bowls. Top with taco meat mixture.
Layer with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado.
Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side.
Notes
You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner version of this dish.
