Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In another large bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined.
Add the egg, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas to the butter mixture. Stir to combine.
Mix in the peanut butter until smooth.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Feel free to adjust the amount of chocolate chips to your liking or omit them for a less sweet bread.
