  • 2 pound pork loin trimmed of excess fat
  • 1 ounce ranch dressing mix one packet
  • 1 cup chicken broth low sodium
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Preparation Steps

  • Season the pork loin with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork loin and sear on each side for about 2-3 minutes until browned.
  • Transfer the pork loin to the crockpot. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add chicken broth to deglaze the pan, then pour the mixture over the pork loin.
  • Sprinkle ranch dressing mix over the pork, cover with the lid, and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pork is tender.
  • Once cooked, remove the pork loin, and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes
