Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork loin on all sides until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Place the sliced apples in the bottom of the crockpot. Put the seared pork loin on top of the apples.
Pour the chicken broth around the pork. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, cinnamon, and garlic powder.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the pork is tender and cooked through.
Notes
This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes or a mixed green salad. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
