  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.75 oz can
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms fresh or canned
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown each pork chop on both sides.
  • In a crockpot, mix the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, dry onion soup mix, and garlic powder.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms and browned pork chops to the crockpot. Ensure chops are fully covered with the soup mixture.
  • Cook on low for 4-5 hours or until pork chops are tender.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, remove the lid of the crockpot in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
