Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 4 cups chicken broth low sodium
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz can
  • 1 cup yellow onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  • Pour chicken broth and cream of chicken soup over the chicken.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cover crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.
  • Remove chicken and shred with forks.
  • Return shredded chicken to the crockpot and add egg noodles. Cook on high for 30 minutes.
  • Stir in chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a creamier dish, add 1/4 cup of heavy cream before serving. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
