Ingredients
 

  • 2 lbs steak cut into chunks (sirloin, chuck, or round work well)
  • 1 1/2 lbs baby potatoes halved or quartered
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley or grated Parmesan

Instructions

  • Prep the Ingredients:
  • In a large bowl, toss steak pieces with olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  • Layer in Crock-Pot:
  • Add potatoes and onions to the bottom of the slow cooker. Place the seasoned steak pieces on top.
  • Add Broth:
  • Pour beef broth evenly over the contents in the slow cooker.
  • Cook:
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 4–5 hours, until the steak is tender and potatoes are cooked through.
  • Finish & Serve:
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve warm, garnished with parsley or a sprinkle of Parmesan.
