  • 4 fillets Cod fish or any white fish of choice
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 buns Burger buns

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Pat the fish fillets dry with a paper towel.
  • Season the fish with salt and pepper. Coat each fillet in flour, then dip into beaten eggs, and finally coat in panko breadcrumbs.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry the fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  • Serve the crispy fish on buns with your favorite toppings and sauces.

Notes

For an extra kick, add some lemon zest to the breadcrumbs before frying.
