  • 12 oz salmon fillet skinless, cut into chunks
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta uncooked
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 0.5 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add salmon chunks and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
  • Add lemon zest, salt, and pepper to the sauce and stir to combine.
  • Toss the cooked pasta in the creamy salmon sauce and mix until pasta is well coated.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh dill before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
