Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium saucepan, melt the chocolate chips and butter over low heat, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
Fold in the shredded coconut until fully coated with the chocolate mixture.
Scoop tablespoon-sized mounds of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden, then let them cool completely on a wire rack.
