  • 1.5 pounds corned beef sliced
  • 8 slices rye bread
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sauerkraut drained
  • 0.5 cup Russian dressing
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  • Layer corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing on non-buttered side of the bread.
  • Top with another slice of bread, buttered side out.
  • Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill each side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Repeat with remaining sandwiches. Serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the Russian dressing.
