  • 1.5 cups light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon oil Add more for extra spice
  • 1 red food coloring optional

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large saucepan, mix sugar, water, and corn syrup over medium heat.
  • Stir until sugar dissolves, then stop stirring and bring mixture to 300°F on a candy thermometer.
  • Remove from heat and stir in cinnamon oil and food coloring.
  • Pour onto a greased baking sheet and let cool before breaking into pieces.
