Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in the vanilla extract and egg until well combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the rainbow sprinkles.
Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly.
Add extra sprinkles on top of each cookie, pressing them lightly into the dough.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
