You can use dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.

sweetened condensed milk
A 14-ounce can is standard.

Pure vanilla extract is preferred.

Instructions
Preparation Steps
Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk over low heat.
Stir continuously until the chocolate chips are melted and the mixture is smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract, peanut butter, and salt until well combined.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm. Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
