  • 2 large bananas ripe, mashed
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt plain
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, combine the mashed bananas, sugar, yogurt, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bars to cool in the pan before slicing and serving.
