  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 3 medium ripe bananas mashed
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.75 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

  • In another bowl, combine mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix well.

  • Add banana mixture to the flour mixture and stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
