Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
1.5 cups all-purpose flour,
1 tsp baking soda
In another bowl, combine mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix well.

3 medium ripe bananas,
0.5 cup sugar,
0.25 cup unsalted butter,
1 tsp vanilla extract
Add banana mixture to the flour mixture and stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
